Artist's Description
Thermal conduction experiment. A metal coin and a plastic button on thermochromic paper. The experimenter placed their fingers on both for a short while. When they removed their fingers, the thermochromic paper under the coin had changed colour, indicating a change in temperature. This shows that metal is a good conductor of heat, and plastic is a poor conductor.
