Description
Researchers collecting insects, Borneo. Entomology researcher Dr Ed Turner (left) and field assistants inspecting an insect trap on the forest floor. The trap collects both forest floor and flying insects. The study is part of a ten year ecological study on the forest known as SAFE (Stability of Altered Forest Ecosystems). SAFE monitors changes in forest ecology as it is progressively logged and turned into palm oil plantations.
