Nerve Fibre #1 metal print by Microscape. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

Light microscopy of some myelinated and mostly unmyelinated nerves in a nerve fibre. Nerve axons show a wave-like pattern interspersed with scattered nuclei of Schwann cells and fibroblasts. Schwann cells are non-neural cells that provide support for the axons. Unmyelinated axons are embedded in extensions of Schwann cell cytoplasm but in contrast to myelinated nerves, the Schwann cells do not form myelin sheaths surrounding the axons. Magnification x500 when narrow width printed at 10 cm.
