Mogadishu, Somalia, satellite image. Mogadishu, located on the east coast of Africa, is Somalia's capital and largest city. Due to the Somalian civil war Mogadishu is one of the most dangerous cities in the world and although it is Somalia's commercial and financial centre the Somalian parliament sits in Nairobi, Kenya. The city's international airport is at bottom left and its port is at centre. Taken by the Ikonos satellite on 14 March 2001.
