Product Details

Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Artist's Description

Florence Sabin (1871-1953, centre), US medical researcher, with other female scientists outside Barnard College, New York, USA. Sabin studied and taught anatomy and histology. Sabin pioneered the role women could play in science. Among the firsts she achieved were a full professorship at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine (1917), and the first woman elected to the National Academy of Sciences (1924). From 1925 she worked at the Rockefeller Institute for Medical Research in New York City, USA. In 1951, she was presented with the prestigious Lasker Award.
