Asian tiger mosquito research. Asian tiger mosquitoes (Aedes albopictus) preying on a mouse (upper frame) inside a mosquito net. This mosquito is native to South-East Asia and the Indian Ocean. The effects of the mosquito on the mouse will be studied to help combat the effects of the mosquito on humans. Photographed at a laboratory at the Pasteur Institute, France.
