Description
Wild bergamot (Monarda fistulosa). This perennial herb, a member of the mint family (Lamiaceae), is native to North America. It flowers from May to August. Wild bergamot is used in herbal medicine to treat coughs, colds and nausea. A tea is also made from its leaves.
