Description
Eleutherodactylus terraebolivaris, a female whistling-quacking frog found in South America & on the Caribbean island of Tobago, but not on the intermediate island of Trinidad. This group, the Eleutherodactylus, also known as robber frogs, are not as dependent on water as other species of frog. Their eggs are laid on land without any moist protection such as the foam of the nest- building frogs. The tadpoles are atypical.
