Upper Kenta Canal. This canal is in Barataria Preserve, a part of Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve, near Crown Point, Louisiana USA. Barataria Preserve is near New Orleans. It consists of 23,000 acres of bayous, swamps, hiking trails, alligators, and birds. The white building in the distance is One Shell Square, the tallest building in New Orleans. Photographed in November 2012.
