Construction of a geodesic dome housing radar antenna at Clear Air Force Station, Alaska, USA, in 1965. This radome was part of BMEWS: Ballistic Missile Early Warning System, the purpose of which was to provide surveillance and tracking of intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) and submarine-launched ballistic missiles.
