View from Tower Bridge looking north-west across the 11th-century Tower of London (lower right) to the 21st-century skyscrapers that have been built or are under construction in the City of London. The three tall skyscrapers are (left to right): 'The Walkie-Talkie' (20 Fenchurch Street, 160 metres, completed April 2014); 'The Cheesegrater' (122 Leadenhall Street, 225 metres, opened July 2014); and 'The Gherkin' (30 St Mary Axe, 180 metres, opened 2004). Construction of a skyscraper at 52â??54 Lime Street ('The Scalpel', 190 metres, completion in 2017) is visible at centre. Photographed on 11 August 2014.
