Description
Tomato frog (Dyscophus antongilii). Tomato frogs are native to the swamps and forests of Madagascar. Tomato frogs are known to inflate themselves and to exude a distasteful, gummy substance from their skin to deter predators when threatened. Female adult tomato frogs can reach over ten centimetres in length. Photographed in the Montagne des Francais Reserve, Madagascar.
