MODEL RELEASED. Boy in thermal blanket. Thermal blankets are composed of a sheet of polyester metalised with an aluminium laminate. Aluminium has a high reflectivity and therefore insulates the body from heat loss due to radiation. Thermal blankets are used in the event of trauma, accident or cold conditions.
