Description
Suspected rabid dog barking. This dog has been exhibiting restless and aggressive behaviour, two symptoms of rabies. Rabies, also known as hydrophobia, is caused by a virus that infects the central nervous system, before also spreading to other tissues. Other symptoms of rabies in animals may include impaired walking, spasms and eventually paralysis. The disease can be spread to humans through animal bites. Rabid animals are destroyed.
