Time-exposure image of stars forming light trails in the sky over the chapel of Nossa Senhora dos Remedios, in the historic part of Esporao homestead, Alqueva Dark Sky Reserve, Portugal. Star trails are created on long-exposure images by the Earth's rotation on its axis. The region of the sky imaged here includes the Milky Way. Photographed in 2015.
