Traditional fish traps (or fish kraals), designed to trap fish moving in and out of the estuary with the tide, at Kosi Bay. The Tsonga people, who have made this land their home for more than 1000 years, are experts in fish traps. The local tribal authority gives each family in the area the right to establish and maintain a particular fish kraal site. Photographed in iSimangaliso Wetland Park, KwaZulu Natal, South Africa.
