Artist's Description
A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket on the launch pad at Space Launch Complex SLC40 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida. The launch vehicle was developed by Space Exploration Technologies Corp, founded by Elon Musk in 2002. The rocket pictured launched a Dragon supply capsule, also supplied by SpaceX, to the International Space station in April 2016. The Dragon is enclosed in a protective nose fairing at the top of the rocket.
