Description
Southern rockhopper penguin (Eudyptes chrysocome) colony. Southern rockhoppers are sociable penguins that inhabit rocky coastlines on sub-Antarctic islands. They feed on fish, cephalopods (such as squid), crustaceans and krill, and can reach a length of up to 55 centimetres. Photographed on Pebble Island, the Falkland Islands.
