At lower centre and centre left are the pectoralis major muscles of the chest, separated by the sternum. At upper left is part of the skull, the cervical vertebrae and the first rib. At upper right are parts of the trapezius and levator scapulae muscles of the back. Across centre are the clavicles (collar bones). The shoulder joint is at far right. At lower right is the two-headed biceps brachii muscle, together with the attachment of the pectoralis major to the humerus (upper arm bone).
