Artist's Description
Robotic muscle. Dr Yoseph Bar-Cohen holds an artificial robotic muscle he is researching for NASA. This muscle uses electrostrictive polymers (ESP), which contract under the application of an electric current. Bar-Cohen works at JPL, based in Pasadena, California, USA.
