Recharging an electric car. Electric cars run on electricity, rather than fossil fuels. The electricity can be generated using sustainable resources. This will be increasingly important in the future as the world's oil reserves become depleted. This car is being recharged from a recharging point operated by EDF Energy, the City of Westminster council, and Transport for London. The car is a REVA (known as G-Wiz in the UK).
