A bust of Indian physicist Chandrasekhara Venkata Raman at the Nehru Science Centre in Mumbai, India. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics for his discovery of the Raman Effect (the inelastic scattering of a photon) in 1928 and was the first Asian physicist to receive that honour.
