Description
Ornithosuchus prehistoric reptile. This extinct reptile was a pseudosuchian, a 'false crocodile' related to today's crocodilians. It was around 4 metres in length and was bipedal, able to walk on its hind legs. It lived around 185 million years ago in the Late Triassic. Its fossils have been found in northern Scotland.
