Nematode mouthpart, coloured scanning electron micrograph (SEM). Nematodes are small unsegmented worms that feed on a wide range of organisms and materials depending on their habitat. They are generally 1-2 millimetres long, with the mouthpart opening being around 20 micrometres across. This is a Parasitorhabditis frontali nematode.
