Description
Nelson's Column, aerial photograph. Nelson's Column was built between 1840 and 1843 to commemorate Admiral Horatio Nelson, who died defeating the Spanish Navy at the Battle of Trafalgar. The statue is 5.5m high and stands on a column 56m high. The buidling seen immediately the statue is the National Gallery. Photographed in Trafalgar Square, London, UK.
