Description
Most-perfect" magic square. Computer illustration of a "most-perfect" magic square. In common with other magic squares, numbers in each row, column and diagonal add up to the same number (30 in this case). In a most- perfect magic square, each 2x2 square also has components which add to 30. Opposite partial diagonals show the same proper- ties, for instance 3 and 10 at upper right and 12 and 5 at lower left. Corners and longer partial diagonals also have these features, for instance 0 at top left, and 5, 15 and 10 at lower right add to 30. Most-perfect magic squares were realised by Dame Kathleen Ollerenshaw and Professor David Bree of Manchester University, England."
