Moche ceremonial cape. Jewellery and other ornaments depicting a feline head on a Moche ceremonial cape. The cape was found at a Moche archaeological site in Peru. The Moche people were a pre-Hispanic people that lived in coastal river valleys in northern Peru. Their civilisation reached its height in the period from 100-700 AD.
