Michelangelo's 'The Last Judgment'. 1895 illustration of a section of 'The Last Judgment' by Michelangelo in the Sistine Chapel of the Vatican City. This fresco covers the whole altar wall of the Sistine Chapel and depicts the Second Coming of Christ and the final eternal judgment of humanity by God. It took over 4 years to complete between 1536 and 1541.
