Artist's Description

Measuring electromagnetic induction. Students dropping a magnet through a coil of wire, the ends of which are attached to a moving coil voltmeter/galvanometer. As the magnet passes through the coil, a reading is seen on the voltmeter, showing that moving a magnet through a wire coil induces a current in the coil.
