Description
Kalinowski's mouse opossum (Hyladelphys kalinowskii) peering out from under loose tree bark. Also known as the Peru gracile mouse opossum, this is a species of opossum in the Didelphidae family. Opossums are omnivores and scavengers, and eat a wide range of carrion, as well as fruit. This opossum is found in French Guiana, Guyana, and Peru. Photographed in South America.
