Description
Janus from space. Satellite image of the southern hemisphere of Janus, one of Saturn's moons, showing its rugged cratered surface. This rocky body measures 179 kilometres across and shares an orbit with the moon Epimetheus. The moon's south pole is at centre. Imaged by the narrow-angle camera onboard NASA's Cassini spacecraft, on 26th May 2008.
