Description
Iron pyrite (iron disulphide, FeS2), commonly known as fool's gold, embedded in talc (hydrated magnesium silicate). Iron pyrite is the most abundant sulphide mineral and often occurs as cubes. Talc is a fine grained mineral with a soft soapy feel. This specimen is from Navajun, Spain.
