Description
Photograph of the human left humerus, the bone of the upper arm, viewed in posterior aspect. The head of the humerus (top) articulates with the glenoid cavity of the scapula (the shoulder blade) in a ball and socket joint. The trochlea at the lower end of the shaft articulates with the ulna and part of the radius, the two more slender bones of the forearm, at the elbow joint.
