Historical astronomical instruments. Telescopes, sextants and other historical astronomical equipment in a room at the Leiden Observatory, Leiden, the Netherlands. This observatory, founded in 1633, is one of the world's oldest university observatories. It houses many historical instruments. A new observatory building was built in 1860.
