High-resolution picture of Saturn's rings; the bright B-ring takes up most of the frame and there are numerous spoke" features visible on it. Their very sharp, narrow appearance suggests short formation times. Scientists think electromagnetic forces are in some way responsible for these features. This picture was taken by Voyager 2 on August 22, 1981, from a distance of 4 million kilometres (2.5 million miles)."
