Description
Gulfoss waterfall, Iceland. Gulfoss (meaning 'Golden Falls') is a waterfall on the Hvita river in south-western Iceland. The water from the river falls into a crevice 32 metres deep, about 20 metres wide, and 2.5 kilometres in length. For a close-up of the upper part of the waterfall (upper left), see image C026/2295.
