Description
Reproductive structures of a white lily (Lilium longiflorum). The female part of the flower, the carpel, consists of a stigma (dark brown) and style (green stalk). It is surrounded by the male stamens, which consist of pollen-bearing anthers (orange) supported on filaments. At the base of the flower are six white tepals (the inner three are petals, the outer three sepals).
