Fish fossil. Fossilised bones of a fish exposed in a flat dolostone bed of coastal rocks. This specimen was found in the Kimmeridge Clay Formation, in Dorset, UK, part of the Jurassic Coast Heritage Site. This formation consists of mudstones and shales.
