Fibroblasts metal print by Dr Lothar Schermelleh. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

Fibroblast cells, 3D-structured illumination micrograph. The cell nuclei, which contain the cells' genetic information, are blue. Actin protein filaments, which make up part of the cytoskeleton, are yellow. The cytoskeleton maintains the cells' shape, allows some cellular mobility and is involved in intracellular transport. Fibroblasts are cells that give rise to connective tissue such as collagen, the main structural protein in the body. They are important in wound healing.
