Fabric boiling house, 19th century. Illustration of workers boiling fabrics as part of the production process in the textile industry. This factory was operated by the Flavigny drapery company. Artwork from volume 5 (1874) of a republication of 'Les Grandes Usines', a multi-volume work on French industry by journalist and author Julien Turgan (1824-1887).
