Eurasian spoonbills (Platalea leucorodia) wading and feeding. The Eurasian or common spoonbill is a wading bird which feeds on aquatic insects, molluscs, crustaceans, worms, frogs, and small fish. It migrates from southern Eurasia to the tropics in winter, returning in the spring. Photographed in India.
