They contain high doses of the synthetic versions of the female sex hormones oestrogen and progesterone that are found in standard birth control pills. This is the Levonelle morning-after pill, produced by Schering Health Care. This is the 2-pill version, which has been discontinued from November 2005 and replaced by a double-strength, single-pill version.
