Description
Eastern green mamba (Dendroaspis angusticeps). This is the smallest of the mamba snakes. Its usual length is about 1.8 metres. It is found in both western and eastern Africa, in coastal rainforests, where it lives in the trees. It feeds on small animals such as frogs, birds and mammals. It is extremely poisonous.
