Description
Dymaxion House. This prototype prefabricated house, developed by US architect and inventor Buckminster Fuller (1895-1983), was an early example of an autonomous building. This is a building independent of local infrastructure. It was intended to be easily built, shipped and assembled on a range of sites. First developed in 1930, it was redesigned in 1945. Here, it has been installed at the Henry Ford Museum, Dearborn, Michigan, USA.
