DNA molecule. Computer artwork representing the structure of DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid), which is composed of two strands twisted into a double helix. The molecular structure of the two sugar-phosphate strands can be seen at left, and at centre are the bases (red and white beads), which connect the two strands. DNA contains sections called genes, which encode the body's genetic information.
