Description
Deserted beach. Empty chairs on Orange Beach, Alabama, USA. In the distance a boat is laying an inflatable boom (orange) to prevent oil from the Deepwater Horizon oil spill from reaching the coast. An explosion on the offshore drilling unit on the 20th April 2010 sent over five thousand barrels of oil a day spilling into the Gulf of Mexico. Photographed on 10th June 10 2010.
