Descaler. Two products used to remove limescale from domestic appliances. Limescale is a deposit of calcium carbonate. It comes from heating hard' water (with dissolved calcium bicarbonate) - the bicarbonate is converted into carbonate with the liberation of carbon dioxide. Limescale deposits are best cleared with a mild acid solution.
