Description
The toe of a landslide in L Street, Anchorage, Alaska caused during the earthquake of 27 March 1964. The area is on the northern ridge of the Pacific Tectonic Plate, and has suffered from high levels of seismic activity. This particular event had its epicentre 130 km east of Anchorage, and had a magnitude of 8.2 on the Richter Scale.
