Description
Couple hugging. Thermogram of a couple hugging each other on a sofa. The colour-coding shows variations in temperature. The scale runs from white (warmest), through red, yellow, green and blue to purple (coldest). Thermography records the temperature of surfaces by detecting long- wavelength infrared radiation. The exposed skin of the couple is warm, while their clothes and watch and jewellery is colder.
