Cape Horn. View across the waters of the Drake Passage to Cape Horn on Hornos Island. Cape Horn is the southernmost headland of the Tierra del Fuego archipelago of southern Chile. It marks the northern boundary of the Drake Passage, which separates the southern tip of South America from the South Shetland Islands of Antarctica, and connects the southwestern part of the Atlantic Ocean (Scotia Sea) with the southeastern part of the Pacific Ocean and extends into the Southern Ocean.
